Join us for a delightful, intimate cabaret evening of Broadway and pop music performances as San Jose area musical theatre favorites James Creer, Glenna Murillo and Karen DeHart invite you to (in the words of Auntie Mame) “open a new window, open a new door” as they throw the norms of traditional theatre casting out! Whether due to the shutdown, or due to narrow ideas of gender, race, age or size, every performer has songs they hold dear to their hearts and have never gotten the opportunity to share. Well, this group of talented singers is ready to share!
Our MC for the evening, James Creer, needs no introduction to Tabard audiences, having appeared in numerous shows with us including I Do, I Do and Tin Pan Alley Rag. Joining James will be Glenna Murillo, who performed in Starting Here, Starting Now and Musical of Musicals at Tabard. Our third performer Karen DeHart is new to Tabard, but you may recognize her from her frequent appearances in shows at South Bay Musical Theatre, City Lights and all over the Bay Area. This will be a fun evening of music and stories that you won’t want to miss!

“The fellow you ought to be is three dimensional,
Soaking up life down to your toes,
Whenever they say you're slightly unconventional,
Just put your thumb up to your nose.”
